Rosen Sunshine Welcomes New Associates

Rosen Sunshine is pleased to welcome Joshua Lerner and Clancy Catelin to the team.

Joshua Lerner joined Rosen Sunshine LLP as an associate in July 2019 after practicing at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. Joshua represents a variety of health care professionals in the regulatory, administrative and civil contexts. He provides opinions and advice to health professionals, institutions, and individuals on various health-related legal matters.

Joshua completed his articles at a national full-service law firm and was called to the bar in June 2018. Prior to his call, he obtained his law degree at Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. While at law school, Joshua participated in a number of advocacy competitions. He represented Western Law at the national Gale Cup competition, where his factum won the second-place prize. Joshua was also an ambassador for incoming students, and volunteered at the school’s legal aid clinic, as well as Lawyers Feed the Hungry.Joshua is a member of the Advocates’ Society, the Medico-Legal Society, and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.

Clancy Catelin joined Rosen Sunshine LLP as an associate in August, 2019. Clancy assists healthcare professionals, institutions and individuals by providing opinions and advice on a variety of health-related legal matters.

Clancy completed her articles with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Legal Services Department and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2019. Prior to articling, Clancy volunteered as a student caseworker and litigator with Community Legal Aid and as a researcher for Ecojustice Canada. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Bioethics and French Studies from the University of Toronto. She completed her J.D. at the University of Windsor where she acted as a mentor in the Peer Mentorship Program and was published in the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.Clancy is a member of the Medico-Legal Society, The Advocates' Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
