Call to make all complaints public - Elyse Sunshine comments

In response to a Toronto Star article reporting on the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association call to make the decisions relating to complaints against Ontario's doctors (and therefore all health professionals) public, Elyse Sunshine provides commentary on the other side of the story.

The movement for increased transparency, while compelling, disregards the fact that the current system remains effective and efficient in dealing with public complaints and the risks in imposing publication on a process that is conducted by way of paper review, without a hearing.
