CPSO Consults Public on Updates to Four Key Policies: #4 Telemedicine

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is currently asking for feedback on the following four policies and their accompanying advice documents: Delegation of Controlled Acts; Professional Responsibilities in Medical Education; Third Party Medical Reports; and Telemedicine. The consultations were announced on September 17, 2020 and the deadline for providing feedback on the new draft policies is November 16, 2020.

Telemedicine

The CPSO is also seeking preliminary feedback on the current Telemedicine policy in light of the unprecedented expansion of the use of telemedicine (virtual care) that has taken place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
