Lonny to Co-chair Osgoode Healthcare Privacy Program

OsgoodePD-Logo-for-Scope-300x199Health lawyer Mary Jane Dykeman and Rosen Sunshine Partner Lonny Rosen will chair the upcoming 2016 Legal Guide to Privacy and Information Management in Healthcare program, run by Osgoode Professional Development.The April 13 course, available in-person or live on the web, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Osgoode Professional Development Centre, located at 1 Dundas St. W., 26th Floor, in Toronto.It will feature a faculty of leading legal, privacy and health experts and aims to provide those working and advising in the health-care arena with a comprehensive understanding of the pressing issues and practical strategies to prevent, reduce the risk of, andrespond to privacy breaches. A special panel closes the day on privacy in community health-care settings, including community mental health and addiction, community health centres and community care access centres.In addition to chairing the program, Dykeman, partner with Dykeman Dewhirst O'Brien LLP, will speak on recent privacy developments including Bill 119.
