Lonny Rosen Teaches Ethics and Professionalism

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) face many hurdles on their path to licensure in Ontario, including meeting the requirements of the College of Physicians and Surgeons and those of the Medical Council of Canada. These requirements include passing the  Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination and the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part I (MCCQE Part I) which are based on the Canadian medical system. Focusing on the physicians' roles as Professional, Communicator, Scholar, Manager, Collaborator, Health Advocate and Expert, these exams include components testing candidates' knowledge of bioethics and professionalism which are based on Canadian values. Lonny Rosen regularly helps the Ontario IMG School prepare candidates for these challenging exams, and at the same time helps IMGs on their road to licensure. Rosen Sunshine also helps IMGs negotiate the pathways to registration, deal with regulators and meet other challenges in the process.
