Rosen Sunshine Welcomes Our New Associate, Erin Dobbelsteyn
We are thrilled to announce that Erin Dobbelsteyn has joined Rosen Sunshine LLP to practice health law.
Erin has always had a strong interest in health law, which was the focus of her academic study, extra-curricular activities and much of her work experience. Erin was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2014 after completing her articles with the Toronto office of an international law firm. Prior to articling, she worked as a summer student in the Legal Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, where she developed an understanding of the regulatory framework governing the Canadian health care sector. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from McGill University and completed her J.D. at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, where she obtained a specialization in Health Law & Policy and finished in the top ten per cent of her class. During law school, Erin was actively involved in the Health Law Students’ Association and spent a semester working as a student law clerk at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. She also assisted in developing a new syllabus, and revising the class materials, for the Health Systems Law and Policy course.
Prior to law school, Erin assisted with clinical research in the field of neurotherapeutics as research assistant for a professor of the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy.
