Erin Dobbelsteyn joined Rosen Sunshine LLP as an associate in July 2014. Erin assists health care professionals by providing advice and representation in regulatory, administrative, and civil matters. She also provides opinions and general advice to health care professionals, health care organizations, and individuals with respect to a variety of health-related legal matters.
Erin articled at the Toronto office of an international law firm and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from McGill University and completed her J.D. at Dalhousie University, where she stood on the Dean’s List and obtained a specialization in Health Law & Policy. Prior to articling, Erin worked as a summer student in the Legal Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. She has also worked as a student law clerk at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and has assisted with clinical research in the field of neurotherapeutics as a research assistant for a professor of the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy.
Erin is a member of the Advocates’ Society, and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Erin is the Secretary of the Health Law Section Executive of the OBA. She is also certified as a springboard and platform diving judge and officiates at competitions across Ontario.
